Membership registration and card payments should remain separate from donations and will be added after OGA finalizes membership rules.
How Donations Will Process.
After a donor clicks Donate Now, the website will first show country/residence selection, then available donation types and payment options for that country. U.S. donors may see cards/digital wallets, PayPal, and Zelle where enabled. Ghana donors may see Mobile Money/MoMo, mobile wallet, cards, or other Ghana-supported options. UK/EU donors may see cards, digital wallets, PayPal, and regional bank-payment options where enabled.
Each payment option will route through its own verified account and payout setup. Stripe links route donations into OGA's Stripe balance, then Stripe pays out to the official OGA bank account connected inside Stripe. PayPal, Zelle, Mobile Money/MoMo, and other processors must each be connected to the appropriate official OGA account before going live.
Important: Sandbox/test links should not be published. Live payment links should be added only after payment account verification, security, public support email setup, and official payout/bank setup are complete.

One Ghana Alliance does business as OGA Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in the United States. Eligible U.S. donors may receive tax-deductible treatment under applicable U.S. tax laws.

OGA should never store credit card numbers on the website. Card payments should be handled only through verified payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, bank-supported links, or approved mobile money providers. This protects donors and keeps sensitive payment data outside OGA’s website files.

The public website should run on HTTPS with an active SSL certificate before donations are promoted.
Verified Live Links
Use only verified live payment links connected to official OGA accounts and bank/payout settings.
Donor Receipts
Send donor confirmation emails and store donor records in the CRM and backup system.
No Card Storage
Do not collect or store card numbers in OGA forms, email, spreadsheets, or website code.
